Creating and integrating organic farmers, he has taken growing farming groups to his garden and made them feel emotionally and truly uplifted in nature farming and serves as a guide to creating the natural farming world for today’s younger community.
Beginning in September 2013 on All India Radio, he has been giving more than 500 natural agriculture lectures on the topic of “You Can Be a Friend” and raising awareness among the people about organic farming among the people who have become successful farmers. He conducts a festival called ‘Sangamam’ once a year and gives prizes to the winning farmers and encourages them.
For the last 5 years, he has been organizing the ‘Let’s Sow Nature Farming’ program on October 21 every year among school and college students to create awareness among the growing youth community about the nature of agriculture.
A multi-talented man, he started the Websa Farmer Production Company in 2014, bringing together organic farmers in 14 districts based on the first letters of the WEFSA (Water, Earth, Fire, Sky, Air). The company, which started with 117 members, today has a successful track record with 1000 members doing many learning activities.
An agricultural graduate, he turned to organic farming in 2010 during his postgraduate studies. Realizing the need for organic farming, he wanted to take it to the world and the World Natural Agriculture Organization, which is guiding 185 countries worldwide to organic farming. He successfully completed his course for Natural Agriculture Leaders with the assistance of the Government of Germany and was awarded the title of World Natural Agriculture Leader.
Perseverance is the universal success. He was elected by the Governor of the Government of Tamil Nadu as the first member of the Board of Governors of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in recognition of his activities. This is known as a special event in the 50 year history of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. Sevvane has been working for the development of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University by making the work of the government difficult.
The Lions Club in Coimbatore, through its motto “One Family One Farmer”, connected many family members to agriculture. The Lions Club honored him with the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding performance.
In 2015, the Malaysian government hired rural people as government advisers to address the problems they face in vegetable cultivation. On January 9, 2021, The Hindu English daily published an agricultural article titled ‘Tamil Nadu Smiling’ and made him a natural agricultural hero.
He continues to hold a monthly “Agricultural Feast” with the aim of getting people to use traditional food products from natural agriculture. All the farmers, and non-farmers, government officials were present at the banquet. Nature enthusiasts enthusiastically attended the festival with their families and excitedly said that they also like to use traditional rice as they have a taste of the food cooked in the traditional way of cooking.
